This week is Treehugger Week!
Earth Day is tomorrow (Tuesday) and Arbor Day is Friday! I am extremely excited, in case you could not tell from my excessive use of exclamation marks! Yes, I love the environment, being green and I do indeed consider myself a treehugger. So, this week is a very happy time for me. I need to figure out what to do in order to celebrate appropriately both tomorrow and Friday.
Just under two weeks until one of my best friends, Stephanie, gets married! Charlotte, another best friend of mine, and I will be traveling up to Omaha to participate as parts of the bridal party. I was there at camp with Stephanie when she met Chad (her future husband) and it will be great to see them become husband and wife. My goodness, we are growing up.
Four more weeks! Four more weeks until all my finals are completed and I sit next to my two good friends, Holly and Jill during graduation. Four more weeks until homework becomes a thing of the past. Four more weeks and I will start to move out of our triplex that has served as my abode for the last year. Four more weeks and I will go to the graduation reception that Dr. C. Pat Taylor is holding at his house. Four more weeks and I will no longer be a college student, but rather a college graduate. Only four more weeks and my mom, in celebration of my graduation, will make those amazing-looking peanut butter sandwich cookies for which she recently found a recipe.
Five weeks until Charlotte gets married! Married Stephanie will be coming down for the wedding to be in the bridal party with me and another one of Charlotte’s friends, Ashley. John (Charlotte’s soon-to-be husband) and Charlotte will have a very beautiful wedding and even dancing at the reception. It will be great to be a part of and enjoy with my closest friends.
So, those are just the major events that are coming up in my life. Wowser. It will be great, no doubt.
This week remember Earth Day and Arbor Day and hug a tree for me.
Until next time, peace in.
